Bio-Primer Seed Coating
Microbial Delivery from Seed to Soil

Bio-Primer Seed Coating is an efficient delivery system designed to ensure the presence of plant-beneficial micro-organisms at the earliest stage of plant development. By placing beneficial biology directly on the seed, Bio-Primer supports strong early growth, improved nutrient uptake, and increased resilience throughout the growing cycle.
Plant-beneficial micro-organisms — including plant growth-promoting bacteria, rhizobia, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, and Trichoderma — help reduce reliance on agrochemicals while improving yield, crop quality, and tolerance to both biotic and abiotic stress.
Establish Beneficial Biology at Germination
Key Benefits
✔ Improves early plant establishment and uniformity
✔ Enhances nutrient availability and uptake
✔ Increases tolerance to stress and disease pressure
✔ Reduces dependence on chemical inputs
✔ Supports healthier, more resilient crops

Product Composition
Bio-Primer Seed Coating consists of two complementary components:
✔ Microbial Inoculum
A dry, biologically active inoculum containing diverse beneficial microorganisms.
✔ Liquid Mineral & Feed Solution
A nutrient solution that feeds microorganisms and acts as a binder, ensuring even adhesion to seed surfaces.
The two components are mixed together and applied directly to seed, followed by hand or machine mixing and drying.

Production & Microbial Quality
The microbial inoculum is produced from the same composts used in Ecosoil’s Compost Tea Starter, with the addition of Mycorrhizae and Trichoderma. The composts are managed to allow fungal sporulation and microbial cyst formation, ensuring long-term viability.
✔ Dry-sieved to 500 micron
✔ Packed in foil bags for improved shelf life
✔ Maintains high organism viability until use

Ideal for
✔ Broad-acre crops
✔ Vegetables and row crops
✔ Regenerative and biologically driven production systems
