Bio-Primer Seed Coating

Ecosoil’s Bio-Primer SeedCoat is a microbial seed application for enhancing root colonization, symbiosis and plant mutualism.  The resulting increase in plant nutrient absorption area has the potential to increase plant yield, nutrition, and tolerance to biotic–abiotic stresses.

Product Composition

Bio-Primer Seed Coating consists of two complementary components:

✔ Seedcoat Inoculum
A very fine compost carrier containing diverse saprophytic bacteria and fungi spores, including the following:

Paecilomyces lilacinus

Bacillus subtilis

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens

Bacillus megaterium

Bacillus coagulans

Bacillus pumulis

Pseudomonas fluorescens

Trichoderma viride

Trichoderma asperellum

Trichoderma astroveride

Trichoderma harzianum

Azotobacter chroococcum

Paenibacillus polymyxa

Rhodopseudomonas palustris

Mycorrhizal fungi spores

A nutrient solution that feeds microorganisms and acts as a binder, ensuring even adhesion to seed surfaces.

The two components are mixed together and applied directly to seed, followed by hand or machine mixing and drying.
