EcoDelta Programme
Building Self-Regulating, Resilient Farming Systems
The EcoDelta Programme is a crop-specific nutritional and biological programme designed to restore soil function and guide farming systems toward resilience, balance, and long-term profitability.
By working within a defined programme, Ecosoil can align inputs, timing, and interactions. Significantly increasing the likelihood of positive outcomes compared to ad-hoc applications.
The goal is simple: farming systems that improve over time rather than degrade.
How the EcoDelta Programme Works
A Systems-Based Framework
Whole-System Function
Improves total system function rather than treating isolated symptoms.
Functional Resilience
Builds resilience so the system increasingly regulates itself, reducing dependency on external inputs.
Commercial Outcomes
Improved consistency, greater self-reliance, and meaningful reduction in production risk.
Long-Term Value Creation
Localised expenditure, improved energy efficiency, and increasing long-term profitability.
Why EcoDelta Works
Control Creates Consistency
When farmers join the EcoDelta Programme, we gain the ability to manage the system as a whole, not fragments of it.
This allows us to:
✔ Coordinate inputs rather than stack them
✔ Align nutrition with biology and crop demand
✔ Reduce conflicting applications
✔ Build cumulative, compounding benefits over time The result is greater predictability, lower risk, and stronger system performance.

EcoDelta as a Service
Fully Managed. Fully Integrated.
EcoDelta as a Service is an annual contractual programme offered to farmers in the Elgin, Grabouw, Vyeboom, and Villiersdorp regions.
Ecosoil produces, delivers, and applies Compost Tea containing EcoDelta inputs directly through orchard irrigation systems.
This fully managed service ensures:
• Correct formulation
• Correct timing
• Correct application method
Removing complexity for the farmer while maximising biological effectiveness.
Our EcoDelta as a Service Includes
Annual Contractual Programme
A structured, season-long service tailored to orchard systems and crop requirements.
Compost Tea Delivery & Application
Fresh Compost Tea containing EcoDelta products applied efficiently through existing irrigation infrastructure.
Cost-Competitive Regenerative Solution
An eco-friendly alternative that competes with conventional practices on price while improving system resilience.
Small-Hectare Trial Options
On-farm trials can be facilitated, allowing growers to assess performance against current practices before scaling.
The Multiplier Effect of Positive Change
Natural systems respond non-linearly. Small improvements in soil biology, water holding capacity, or energy flow can unlock disproportionately large gains in overall system performance.
EcoDelta is designed to create these positive inflection points – where alignment, not volume, drives results.
As such, the EcoDelta Programme supports core regenerative principles:
✔ Maximising solar capture through living plants
✔ Reducing soil disturbance to protect structure and habitat
✔ Increasing plant diversity to stabilise energy flow
✔ Returning biomass to accelerate biological cycling
✔ Supporting beneficial soil life and organic matter turnover
✔ Increasing stable carbon and long-term energy storage
✔ Building humus as the foundation of resilience and fertility
Facilitating Phase Transitions
Designed for Long-Term Independence
Our objective is not perpetual dependency, but increasing farmer self-sufficiency alongside improved profitability.
Phase 1: Restoration (Years 1–3)
Rebuilding soil function through biologically aligned nutrition and microbial activation. Typical outcomes include improved infiltration, reduced pest and disease pressure, and stabilised or improved yield and quality.
Phase 2: Energy & Carbon Accumulation (≥1.7% SOC)
As soil carbon increases, the system’s capacity to store energy grows – enabling productivity to be maintained with minimal external inputs over time.
All EcoDelta inputs are carbon-based and coherently formulated so that small amounts deliver meaningful impact without disrupting system balance.
