Systems & Hardware

Ecosoil supplies various sizes of Compost Tea Systems for the brewing of compost tea in volume.  The larger systems are modular, and designs can be scaled to fit any size farming operation.  More brewing- and or aerated storage tanks can be fitted to increase the plant volume or the frequency with which compost tea batches can be made.

A low cost, easily usable Compost Extraction Sieve for the quick production of large volumes of compost extract are also on offer.  In row crops, compost extract is typically applied in-furrow at planting to increase microbial diversity.  Some of our horticultural producers use compost extract to continually top-up microbial diversity in the absence of a compost tea system.

In addition, Ecosoil supply all components Hardware and Consumables for the long-term operation and maintenance of you compost tea system or extraction sieve.  Components are also available for self-designed systems or for special purpose solutions such as aerated trailers that can be deployed to pivot irrigation circles.

Compost Tea System

Compost Tea Systems

Our large-scale Compost Tea Systems are purpose-built for commercial farming operations requiring high volumes, consistent performance, and seamless integration with existing irrigation infrastructure.

Smaller size Compost Tea Systems that are ideal for small farms, sizable gardens, demonstration site or trial block are also available.

Sievee

Compost Extraction Sieve

Framed gauze sieve with high air volume disk diffuser fitted at the bottom to vigorously wash microbes from compost within a few minutes. This is typically placed in a 1000L IBC flow bin with water and connected to tyre compressor. The air is used to wash the microbes off the compost over a 15-minute period.
